There are a lot of confusing messages being thrown at us. We are taught to love everyone and we should love everyone and be kind and respectful. But loving everyone does not mean that we sanction every behavior. We are taught that we have agency. Yep, that’s true. We can choose our behavior, but we cannot choose the consequences to ourselves or to those around us.
